I used to know this handyman while I was an undergrad at Syracuse University. He was always around. Always doing something. He’d hold up his key ring and say,
“A long time ago this ring only had one key on it. Took me 15 years to get all the keys for the doors in this place. And it’s taken 30 years more to get back down to these last two. I told my wife, when I get down to one – the skeleton, I’m going to retire.”
I’m a grad student. I’m growing my key collection. I figure, why break a perfectly good cycle.
I’m currently a master’s candidate at the Syracuse University iSchool. I study information management and entrepreneurship.
