We started a distributed tech company with low overhead. And then we made some money and had to talk to an accountant. Our overhead changed a little bit. Surprisingly, friends of ours in the same work space had similar costs for similar resources.
So here’s the question: What if we split the cost of an accountant? What about the cost of hosting -or- project management software -or- legal advice -or- even physical space?
Backwards Capital is an thought experiment in Entrepreneurial Cooperation. Companies would pay dues, democratically decide allocation of resources, and rely on one another to barter. The goal is a self-sustaining entrepreneurial network – both physical and virtual.
